Parents and kids are enjoying summer break, but it won't be long before school is back in session. And some parents are wondering just what their kids are supposed to wear.
The Greene County School system is changing its dress code for the upcoming school year, but hasn't done it yet.
Some parents say they're concerned because they're are eager to get a start on back to school shopping.
The Greene County Superintendent says the changes are meant to be more lenient. He says they are still waiting to get school board approval on the new dress code, which should happen Monday night.
The NC tax free shopping weekend is August3-5.
