Kinston Police said a fast food restaurant was held up at gunpoint overnight in the east.
Employees at the Taco Bell at 1806 West Vernon Avenue called Kinston Police shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday night.
Investigators said three employees were at the fast-food chain restaurant during the late-night shift when two black men came inside with weapons.
Police said the men demanded money, took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran.
Investigators said the employees were so shaken up, they could not tell if the men had a get-away vehicle or ran on foot.
Police said the case is currently under investigation.
