Officers say they found a break-in suspect holed up in an old car with the goods he stole from an adult novelty store: three blow-up dolls and packs of pornographic magazines.
Officer Woody Spencer tells WITN 27-year-old Wallace Eubanks has been arrested for felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
Investigators say they got an alarm call to Oz, an adult novelty shop, on West Vernon Avenue at 12:39 a.m. on Monday.
Officers said they arrived to find the glass on the front door broken and a man officers recognized on the surveillance video.
Spencer said K-9 units were called out, and they found Eubanks sitting in an old vehicle, which he does not own, parked behind the shop with the stolen items.
Jailers at the Lenoir County Detention Center said Eubanks was still in jail Wednesday morning, being held under a $10,000 bond.
Officer Spencer noted Eubanks appeared intoxicated at the time of the break-in and larceny.
