About half of the voting precincts in Lenoir County are experiencing problems with their printers, but that's not stopping people from voting.
Dana King, the director of the Lenoir County Board of Elections says the precincts having trouble are allowing people to vote using paper ballots, which are valid.
King says the printers are not connecting. They have people at each polling place experiencing problems to correct the issues.
Two people have told WITN they were not offered paper ballots at First Pentecostal Holiness Church on Phillips St. King said she was not aware that any voters had been turned away and that voters were not supposed to be turned away.
