A registered sex offender is facing new charges now for violating one of the laws all sex offenders must abide by: staying off social network sites.
Marquetta Norman, 24, of Lenoir County was convicted of taking indecent liberties with a 14 year old in 2010. Norman is charged with the felony charge of a sex offender using a social networking site.
Norman was behind bars Friday morning in the Lenoir County jail.
