NEW INFO: Kinston Teen Dies In Wreck
A Kinston teen is dead after a car wreck in Wayne County Friday night.
The wreck happened around 11:20 p.m. Friday night on Emmaus Church Road near Brewington Drive.
Troopers say 16-year-old Marco Nino of Kinston was traveling south on Emmaus Church Road when he came to a curve, crossed the center line, ran off the road to the left and struck a tree.
Nino was killed in the wreck. Troopers say speed was a factor.
Nino was the only person in the car.
