A boy from Kinston is in the hospital after being run over by a car Wednesday.
Trooper D.W. Emory said the boy was riding his bicycle heading north on Tower Hill Road when he collided with the vehicle driven by Charlene Johnson. Emory said the boy suffered a leg injury.
No charges have been filed in the accident at this time.
