A man who police say had been on the run for the past three months for a Durham murder has been arrested in Kinston.
Durham police say 23-year-old Arsenio Lamberth was arrested last night in Kinston.
Kinston police say they got a call that a wanted man was on South Queen Street. Police say he gave an officer a fake name, while admitting he was carrying a knife.
After his arrest on carrying a concealed weapon and being fingerprinted, they soon discovered the man was Lamberth.
Lamberth and his brother, Dominique, are accused in the February 26th murder of Kourtney Dawson.
Police say the woman was gunned down after the two brothers robbed a man of $20 on Holloway Street. Investigators say the woman was not the intended victim, and was hit by one of the bullets as the two men drove away from the robbery.
Dominique Lamberth was arrested back in March for the murder.
