Kinston police say they have found a man who they say racked up thousands of dollars worth of charges on a stolen credit card.
Earlier this week police released the photo of the man using an ATM with the stolen card.
Police say through media tips they were able to charge Edward Sauls of Dawson Station Road with financial card fraud last night. Detectives say they got numerous calls after the media circulated the photo on Tuesday.
Police are hoping you might be able to recognize the man using a stolen credit card in one Eastern Carolina city. The victim lost several thousand dollars from his account.
Kinston police say the man in the photo is suspected of using a stolen credit card in the middle of March around the city. The image was taken around 12:25 a.m. on March 15th at a State Employee Credit Union ATM.
The victim said he remembered having his wallet a few days before, but by the time he realized it was gone, several thousand dollars had been spent from his account.
Anyone who can identify the man in the photo should call Kinston police at 252-939-3201.
