A local man is dead after a car crash overnight.
The Highway Patrol says 53-year-old Neil Janson from Seven Springs was killed in a crash near Deep Run in Lenoir County Wednesday morning.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. on Liddell Rd., about 6.5 miles west of Deep Run. Officials say Janson drove off the road to the right and overcorrected as he came back on the road. He drove off the road to the left, hit a ditch, and his vehicle flipped.
