A Snow Hill woman has been charged with stealing mail after a man found a stack of opened Christmas cards in his mailbox.
Crystal Brann is charged with two counts of larceny of mail and two counts of attempted larceny of mail.
Last month James Topping found the opened cards addressed to other people just days before Christmas. Topping took the cards to the post office.
Sheriff Lemmie Smith says witnesses saw the 38-year-old Brann going into someone's mailbox. She's out on a $2,000 bond and has a January 27th court date.
