The two accused of killing Laura Ackerson, the mother who disappeared from Kinston last July, will stand trial on May 20, 2013, according to the Kinston Free Press.
Grant and Amanda Hayes will stay locked up until then. Ackerson and Grant Hayes were in a bitter custody dispute over their two boys at the time of her murder.
