Remembering Taylor and Katlyn Humphrey

Thousands of people gathered at South Lenoir High School Saturday to remember Taylor and Katlyn Humphrey.

Many friends and family members attended the memorial service and funeral.

The two teenagers died tragically in a car accident last week. Their parents and younger sister, who were also in the car at the time, were injured but survived.

Loved ones said Taylor and Katlyn were outstanding role models and that the two were passionate about their church and community and will be truly missed.

I don;t really know your pain but I know that God will help you through this. My son was in a motorcycle accident in 2007 and I almost lost him then in 2008 my husband almost lost his life. I don;t know why these things happen but God does. Just keep your faith in him and he will bring you through. My prayers go out to you God Bless you

I cannot begin to know how you feel. Life will never be the same after the loss of two children. Taylor and Katlyn sounds as if they were angels on this earth and now they have their wings. God Bless your family. I hope in the weeks, months, years to come you can understand God's plan for your entire family. My prayers are with you.

May these two beautiful souls,go to Heaven on Judgment Day.Please don't ever "imagine" what it is or will be like to loose a child! You will never come close to knowing unless it happens to you! It's a pain and emptiness that never goes away.

I cannot even begin to know your pain but I do have two precious sons 20 and 24 and I can only imagine what it would be like to lose them. Know that God is with you and will never forsake you. I feel strongly that Taylor and Katlyn are looking down on and walking with you all. God bless!
