Third Juvenile Fails To Return To Dobbs Center

A third juvenile has failed to returned from the Dobbs Youth Development Center in Kinston after a home visit.

The Department of Juvenile Justice says the escape happened around 11:20 a.m. Monday. The juvenile, who they identify as "Terrell H." was last seen on Shreve Street in Wilson.

On Sunday, the state announced that two other juveniles from Dobbs also failed to return as scheduled. "Calvin F." was last seen in Hookerton on Sunday, while "Jessie F." was spotted on Gordon Street in Kinston.

    These kids are budding or should say full fledged criminals and except for their age would be in ADULT prison. And in my opinion if you do the crime you do the time irregardless of age. Put them in prison, shoot some these "kids" probably would scare the adults in prison.

    OK for all the bleeding hearts out there these kids are not sweet and innocent one bit! They are at Dobbs because there is not Real prison for them. There are at a level where the family nor social services cannot do anything with them. Time to lock em up for a while till they are 21! It may make them worse or it may make the better. But if they are rotten they are rotten. They have to make the choice for them selves . They have so far and look what it has gotten them?? Time to get tough on these kids . NO respect for welders or the law nor themselves ! They need to be taught better. I hope they don't come to my home. I would hate to say what might happen.
