Kinston Man Arrested On Sex Offense Charges

A Kinston man is accused of second degree forcible sex offense against a child, and authorities say it happened inside the victim's home, that's according to the Kinston Free Press.

The paper says 20-year-old Keatron Hines is in police custody accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile. The incident took place last week at the child's home.

Hines is in jail under a $50,000 secured bond. His court date is set for April 28th.

He doesn't look like Bubba, but those lips sure do look like Bubba's. "Shrimp gumbo, shrimp salad, shrimp scampi...all the kinds of shrimp you can think of."

To Anonymous at 11:50--- I really don't know what to say about your comment. So, I'm going to be nice and let you know that you may want to consider going back to school and taking another English class because obviously the first go around didn't work for you. Oh yeah, i grew up poor also, but at least i can speak correct grammar. Have a nice day!

I find it hard to believe that offenders continue to receive a slap on the wrist while the victims serve a life sentence. I hate to say it but instead of worrying about health care reform, our government should have campaigned to impose harsher punishments upon sexual predators, now because of the reform these predators have the rights to psychiatric evaluations and treatment billed to John Q. Taxpayer. I'm just saying...

I vote for chemical castration in these cases. Once this happens, you won't have to worry about it and it would be a effective deterrent.

I agree with both you guys. How do "we the people" change this broken system? They tell us to vote but I really don't see anything happening. They tell us to write our congress-people and nothing happens. We all witness these horrible acts being committed and can always guess the outcome. A plea bargain, reduced sentence, change of venue and the criminals know this. There is no accountability any longer. Not from the thuggs and not from the judicial system. There is always an excuse for what these hatefull people do. There should NOT be any excuse. If they do the crime appropriate punishment should be swift and direct. Not 3 hots & a cot.
