Second Arrest Made In Kinston Armed Robbery & Kidnapping

Two people wanted in the armed robbery of a Kinston woman are now behind bars.

Police say Dallas Dawson was arrested Wednesday shortly after noon in Wayne County.

Another suspect, Al Myers was picked up Tuesday night at a La Grange convenience store. Police say more arrests may be pending.

Both Dawson and Myers were placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a $100,000.00 secured bond. They were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree burglary and second degree kidnapping.

Sherena Dunn told officers she was preparing to take her trash out Monday night at her home on Buxton Street when three men met her outside and forced her back inside. Two of the men were armed, one with a shotgun and another with a handgun. The woman was held at gunpoint while the other two robbers took electronic equipment and money. Dunn told police she knew two of the men.

Dunn was not hurt in the robbery.

Don't blame him that he is uneduacated and had to turn to crime in order to survive. Blame his parents and our government! Bless his heart...
