A new drop off site to help victims of the Haiti earthquake has been set up in Kinston.
The Harvest Connection Disaster Relief Ministry set up the site to collect donations.
Organizers say although there was an outpouring of support in the beginning, as time goes on, people forget about the constant need for aid.
The group is sending boxes of hygiene and bedding products to Seymour Johnson Air Force base in Goldsboro to be flown to Haiti.
The Harvest Connection Disaster Relief facility is located in Kinston at the old Smithfield Packing site on Vernon Avenue. The office is open Monday through Thursday.
