The Boys and Girls Club of Lenoir County has been forced to temporarily shut its doors after the director says they don't have enough money to stay open.
The after school program usually takes care of hundreds of students from around Lenoir County from 3 to 6 in the afternoon.
The Executive Director Robert Rogers says within the past couple of years things have been financially tight, but this month they just didn't have the funds to stay open.
So as of last Friday the club temporarily closed leaving a lot of students and parents wondering what they were going to do next.
Rogers says the club is now working on raising funds and they hope to reopen as soon as possible.
