Road Conditions Expected To Be Worse

Officials in some flooded areas say they're expecting roads to be in worse shape Wednesday morning.

Greene County officials closed Speights Bridge Road near Walstonburg Tuesday. One area of the road was filled with more than eight inches of gushing water. Even where roads aren't closed, if they have water on them, you're urged to not cross them.

In Craven County, Streets Ferry Road between Piney Neck Road and Main Street in Vanceboro has been closed since this weekend.
