Lenoir County Ready To Ring In The New Year With Jobs!

This year with more North Carolinians out of work in 2009, there is one county ready to ring in the new year with new opportunities for workers.

Kinston Economic Development Commission says 'they're on their way' to recovery.

Since the announcement of Spirit Aerosystems and now the construction of Sanderson's Farm underway in three different places in the county, hiring has increased.

Mark Pope with Economic Development says more and more people who lost jobs could soon be able to pick up some from the creation of new corporations.

Pope says they're starting to take applications now for managerial jobs at Sanderson's Farm next year for the processing facility being built on Highway 70.

Those that believe Obama brought these jobs to Kinston need to open their eyes and their closed minds. By the end of his first term the USA will be worse off than ever.

Lavon, here you go again, gets your facts straight before you write, these businesses were planning on coming to Kinston while Bush was in office. Look at the mess your fine president has done in 1 year, look how his ratings have dropped. People are getting wise, he may have made history but the way it looks he will only have 1 term to destroy the good old USA.

David- You do realize that jobs left America and had plans to lay off workers before Obama was elected dont you. You know the strange thing about this is that when jobs come to America it has nothing to do with the President but when jobs leave America then all of a sudden it's all Obama's fault. Don't you think that's hypocrisy David? Oh wait let me guess of course you don't...

The Lavon spin again , Their about 11 Million people who live in North Carolina. At 11% unemployed the numbers say that is over 1 Million in North Carolina unemployed. Who even still never got a check $$$$$ from the rich people , Obama promised all Americans. Now he says we got to get jobs , but there are no jobs? Oh just blame it on President Bush. Lavon tell Al Gore it is very cold outside and there is Snow in New York City.
