A man who was once a christian school principal in Eastern Carolina is accused of several sex charges against a student.
An indictment shows Michael Joseph Fulcher, a former principal at Bethel Christian Academy in Kinston, was arrested and indicted by a grand jury on four sex charges.
The indictment shows the 39-year-old Fulcher, of Ayden, is charged with sexual activity with a student, taking indecent liberties with a student, crime against nature and sexual battery.
The indictment says the crimes happened in March 2009, when Fulcher was principal of the school.
An online court calendar shows Fulcher has a court appearance scheduled in January.
