Traffic Stop Nets Cops 11 Pounds Of Pot

A routine traffic stop turned out to be anything but that after cops found 11 pounds of pot in the car.

Kinston police have charged Lemarr McKinnon with two possession with intent to sell, manufacture drug charges and maintaining a vehicle for distribution of marijuana and cocaine.

Police say the car was stopped around 12:30 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of South Queen Street. The officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the 1996 Lincoln and a search turned up the pot, along with 10 grams of cocaine.

McKinnon was jailed on a $103,000 bond.

Then we won't have as much overcrowding in the prison system, the judicial system could speed things along... and maybe the death row line can start to shorten one zap/injection at a time.

The cops do their jobs and the judges let them off. Why is this??? Maybe the judges are getting a cut back to let them off.

This drug dealer has been previously charged with the same thing.Wonder if he will get probation again?Cops do their job and do it well,it is the judges that are to blame.

I know that if I had 11 pounds of pot that the first thing I would do is ride around town at 12:30 in the morning smoking a big doobie. What a loser!
