Larceny At Papa John's

One pizza place in Kinston is short some money this morning.

Kinston Police say the person working at the Papa John's on West Vernon Avenue in Kinston reported a money bag missing just after midnight. Detectives say the employee came out of the restaurant's cooler to find a money bag gone.

    Well, News Reader, it goes something like this: Someone stole money from a business. That's known as a theft. A theft is a crime. Crimes are reported in case anyone might have helpful info about what happened, and so that people are reminded to be alert. I'm guessing that there is minimal info about the incident as of yet and there could be more to follow. That's usually how it goes.
