After seven months a church in the east returns to glory in its new home which was burned down.
There was plenty of dancing and celebrating at Called to Conquer Church of Christ in Kinston.
Saturday was the first day of services since the old church burned due to an electrical fire back in March.
Pastor Clay Aycock says the damage to the old church was around $500,000.
The new church, which has a purple theme, isn't quite home yet but the pastor says that shouldn't take too long.
"It's getting there," said Aycock. "A lot of things are different but it feels great. We are going to push forward and do the things god has planned for us to do."
The pastor says the new church has been appraised at around $1.7 million.
