An elementary school student in east has come down with the swine flu according to her parents and doctor.
10 year old Jazmine Lynch who goes to La Grange Elementary in Lenoir County says she started feeling sick about a week ago with a fever and cough.
She went to the doctors where he did a quick test and told her she had swine flu.
She is now taking tamiflu and staying out of school.
Her father says he is concerned for the rest of his 5 kids, and also for his wife because she has congestive heart failure.
According to the Lenoir County Health Department there have been 2 to 3 official state confirmed cases in the county, none within the past few months.
Lynch's case has not been confirmed by the state and likely won't be because of the expense of the testing and the number of possible cases of H1N1.
