Life Without Parole For Kinston Man

A Kinston man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being found guilty in three shootings.

A jury Thursday found Meco Wiggins guilty of first degree murder and two assault with a deadly weapon counts.

Wiggins was on trial in Lenoir County this week for the murder of James Walls and for shooting two other people that happened on Labor Day 2006.

Walls was gunned down on East Washington Street, while the other shootings occurred at the One Stop Restaurant and another on Williams Street.

This is to commen about this case. It's crazy how people from the outside is so easy to say it good for someone to spend the rest of their life behind bars for a crime that they did not do. What if that was your love one Shantae would you be so quick to say the same things? Meco life is not over it not over til God says so. Dont be so quick to believe everything a person says about someone. Have you read the paper lately it so many people getting out of prison for things they did not do then everything people have said about that person they take it back. I pray God continue to keep Meco and he was not the bad person that the system painted him to be. However the truth will come out soon. Continue to pray for the Wiggins family.

Why give him a life sentence, he killed someone why should all of the tax payers have to pay to feed, clothe, and shelter this murderer??? This money could be used for education and after school projects to keep our kids on the right track and not end up like this person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
