Dental Records ID Missing Brother As Murder Victim

One of two brothers believed to have been murdered in Greene County has been identified.

Sheriff Lemmie Smith says dental records have confirmed one of the bodies found July 30th in the burned SUV was that of James Cox.

He and his brother, Antwan, disappeared on July 22nd when they told family members they were going to Falkland to buy tires.

Smith found the burned SUV with two bodies inside at an abandoned hog Farm near Walstonburg.

There is no cause of death yet for Cox, and there is no word whether the other body found is that of his brother.

The SBI is using DNA samples in hopes of providing deputies with an identity of the second body.

The family is holding a memorial service for the two men on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. It will be held at the L.N Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle Study, 1800 Lane St SE in Wilson.

the case is still active and hopefully the police will not go by what's in the street but the evidence. its so much mess in the street til i am sick of hearing it. I know alot of it is true, but get all the evidence and all the facts, dot every "i" cross every "t" before anything is done so that there will be no doubts of guilt.
