Middle, High school and college students from the east coast are spending the week in Eastern Carolina, to lend a helping hand.
170 students from the non profit world changers program are working on homes around Pitt and Lenoir Counties, putting on new roofs, or just improving the homes of those who cant afford to.
Crews at a home in Kinston sweated it out in the heat Wednesday transforming this home, hoping to finish up their work on Friday. Workers say giving back to communities in need always feels good.
Grifton Mission Ministries is providing accommodations for the crews, although participants pay almost 300 bucks to sleep on the floor and work on someone else's house!!
