anyways despite what all these people are talking about and what they think, the LORD is the only one that can judge and take matters in his own hands. so it's what the LORD has planned for both of these gentlemen. so what the public has to say, yeah it's your own interpertation but it's all in the LORD's hand. may GOD be with both of the families and everything will work out for the best of both ends

I'm glad that they have caught Lawrence. I hope that he sits everyday and thinks about what he has done to my brother. My brother is losing his life because some punk decided he wasn't man enough to handle confrontation. To all the people who have offered encouraging words, thank you. For those of you who felt the need to say something stupid, just pray that it doesn't happen to your family member. We may have to bury my brother due to someone's cowardness. May God bless his soul for what he has done!

I drive through the projects to get to the bank in the downtown area. Most of the time it is okay. But every once in a while it is not okay. You are walking downtown shopping or even at the bank at 1:00 in afternoon and hear gun shots. IT IS NOT OKAY. You are getting out of your car to go into TRYON PALACE 3:00 in afternoon and hear gun shots. IT IS NOT OKAY. When one gang goes to Kinston and shoots and then kinston comes to New Bern and shoots. IT IS NOT OKAY! People need to put a stop to it and accept differences in EVERYONE.

I happen to know both of the guys that were involoved and i hated to see donnie shot but there was nothing he could really do. he dont gang bang he rarely gets into a fight but it was a stupid action based on lawrences behalf because he did out of his reputation of being a punk and shooting don just shows how much of a punk he really is. he will get caught because donnie had way more friends than enemys.

To Blake S., you do have a point. I have taken into consideration the size of the towns, just have not posted them like I probably should have. I will name two towns about the same size, Ahoskie and Edenton, which are a lot more hooded out than Williamston for the amount of people that they have. Ahoskie is not much different than Rocky Mount, except for the size. Edenton is not much different than New Bern, except for the size. Williamston would be compared to a city such as either Roanoke Rapids or Smithfield. Based on the amount of news that I hear(which I watch the news every day), there is much less percentage of it that involves shootings, gangs, drugs, rapes, all that type of bad stuff than Rocky Mount, Kinston, New Bern, Greenville and all. Williamston is one of the safest places to live around, but even safer when you get out in the country. The only safer areas than here are around the beaches. I also hope the fool gets what he deserves as well.
