Lenoir County School Board Talks Redistricting

The Lenoir County School Board discussed the possibility of redistricting its schools Monday night.

The school board viewed a presentation by the redistricting committee to update its progress.

After the presentation the redistricting committee asked the board whether it should continue its study. In a five to one vote, the school board decided the committee should bring recommendations on redistricting the elementary schools within the county later this spring.

Kids should go to the school that is closest to their home. Moving "bad" kids to another school is not going to make them any better if they do not want to learn. How hard is it to keep your mouth shut and listen? Redistricting is not the answer. If anything, they need to put the "trouble makers" in one school and let the kids who want to learn, learn.

There is probably one school that has a higher ratio of troublemaking students, and they want to expose more of the good students to these little future criminals. But really, who knows why the clowns that run Lenoir County do what they do? I guess you would have to have a clown mentality too to understand them.
