Man Charged With Violent Armed Robberies In Hispanic Communities

A man accused of the armed robbery of hispanics is now behind bars in Pitt County.

Officials say 30-year-old Tyrone Joyner was wanted by the Pitt and Greene County Sheriff's Offices in connection with a string of violent armed robberies in hispanic communities.

The U.S. Marshal's Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Joyner Thursday after a month-long investigation. Officials say Joyner was living at the Camelot Inn in Greenville, and that's where he was arrested.

He is charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of first degree burglary, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling. More charges are pending.

Joyner was locked up under a $300,000 secured bond.

Hey Al - Do what you have to do to survive. If it's sweeping floors it's sweeping floors. Or is that beneath you?!?! You can find a job if you want a job! I'm a College Grad and I started at the bottom and worked my way up. It took me 14 years BUT I made it! A lot of college grads EXPECT that DREAM JOB right out of College. Those days are over. College Grads are a dime a dozen nowdays! Good Luck!

In reply to you Blake S. I am an ecu grad with a bs and have been and sent to everything and everywhere in this town with no offers yet. If you do not know anyone here closely it has been or seems pretty hard to correct that type of situation. Are you hiring? If so let's talk!
