A year has now passed since a family from Greene County was rocked by the disappearance of two brothers later found dead in an SUV behind an abandoned barn. Now, the medical examiner has released the autopsy report for one brother, but it sheds little light on how Antwan Cox died.
The autopsy report says the medical examiner could not determine how the 26 year old died. The bodies of the Cox Brothers were found burned beyond recognition in August 2009. The medical examiner says the cause of death is inconclusive, finding no evidence to specific injuries.
Lawmen found the Cox Brothers in a burned out vehicle behind an old hog farm operation in Walstonburg in August 2009.
31-year-old Maurice Wesley and 20-year-old Robert Lee Smith, Jr. are charged with murder of the cox brothers. They're both due in court September 3.
