A mother and son are in jail, accused of possessing the ingredients for meth.
Vanessa Willis of Seven Springs and her son, Jonathon Frizzelle, are facing charges of possession to distribute meth precursors.
Acting on a tip, Lenoir County deputies went to the woman's home on Jerusalem Church Road Wednesday and got the okay to search the property. They found the materials in an outbuilding.
The 30-year-old Frizzelle was also arrested on outstanding charges from Johnston and Wilson counties for assault with a deadly weapon, possession with intent to sell and deliver meth, carrying a concealed weapon and larceny.
