A teenager is accused of using a hammer to kill his younger brother.
Sharpburg police say the 16 year old called 911 and said he had struck his younger brother in the head with a hammer. They say the two were alone in the Mill Branch Road home when a fight reportedly led to the deadly encounter Wednesday around 4:30 p.m.
Police arrested Olabode Fashola and charged him with murder.
The Medical Examiner's Office in Greenville says Olusemi Fashola died from blunt force trauma and they list the 13 year old's death as a homicide.
Police say when they responded to the home, the older Fashola opened the door, holding a butcher knife in his right hand.
