Senator Kay Hagan and Nash Community College are co-hosting a jobs fair with more than 40 employers with open positions.
The "Back to Work North Carolina Jobs Fair" is scheduled for Thursday in Brown Auditorium on the community college's campus in Rocky Mount. It's free to both employers and job seekers.
Among employers participating are PNC Bank, Lowe's Home Improvement and the N.C. Department of Public Safety.
Hagan says she sees signs the economy is recovering, but North Carolinians still need help finding jobs.
