Two teenagers have been charged in Tuesday night's murder of another teen.
Rocky Mount police have charged Johnathan Hargrove of Whtakers and Kionte Ransome of Rocky Mount with first degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
17-year-old Jose Martinez was killed after being assaulted outside of 224 Jackson Street. Police said the teen died after a narcotics deal turned violent.
Both Hargrove and Ransome are being held in the Nash County jail without bond.

Police say Hargrove assaulted 17-year-old Jose Martinez at 224 Jackson Street. When officers arrived they found Martinez dead.

Police in Rocky Mount said they are now investigating a homicide from Tuesday night.
Officers said it happened around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday in the 200-block of Jackson Street, off Route 301.
Police say that area is a residential neighborhood.
Corporal Mike Lewis said they are not yet releasing any information about the victim or suspected killer.
Officers told WITN they anticipate releasing further details about the victim and killer later Wednesday morning.
