Nationwide Insurance has claims representatives and humanitarian relief teams standing by at a Kinston supermarket to provide aid to Hurricane Irene victims.
The teams have much needed water, food, paper products, cleaning supplies and other goods available for those in need to pick up.
Those in need can go to the Food Lion at 1304 W. Vernon Ave. in Kinston. Donations will be given out Thursday, Sept. 1.
Nationwide also has a mobile catastrophe response unit in the Nash county area. This mobile unit is traveling into neighborhoods where supplies are needed.
Policyholders with storm damage should call the Nationwide claims hotline at 1-800-421-3535 or contact their local agent.
