Men Arrested For Having Cocaine & Bath Salts

Two men are behind bars after police say they found pot and synthetic cocaine at a store.

Rocky Mount Police say 18-year-old Awadh Abudayeh and 25-year-old Christopher Lynch are both charged with possession of marijuana.

Officers say Tuesday afternoon they searched Five Brothers Food Mart on Raleigh Road and found drug paraphernalia, a handgun, and marijuana on Abudayeh and in a refrigerator inside the store.

Officers say they also seized three vials of synthetic coke- or bath salts- being sold for $15.00 a vial.

Additional charges for the bath salts are pending test results from the state lab.

Al-B, no I'm not high but do you really believe that creating more jobs will ensure that people work...Not...Maybe some but most of these kids dont want or think about working a real job. Its easier to go out and sell some weed (no takes collected there), steal from there neighbor (no need to save for that) Get real lets discipline these guys and girls from the start because somewhere mom and dad failed.

Tony, what are you high on...Bath Salt or something?? So the government should make citizens join the military if the don't go to college?? We need to come together and vote to have you committed to a mental hospital for such a ridiculous suggestion. What we need to do is quit believing that we can't manufacture anything in this country anymore and encourage/force companies and the our leaders to rebuild our manufacturing sector and then these men who choose not to go to college may have job opportunities that don't require a college degree! Also to end wasting your tax dollars by locking people up for such petty nonsense & also increase revenue drugs need to be legalized. This country's way of thinking is why it's sinking. Time for us all to be more mature & stop coming up with silly old ways of getting things done that simply don't work!

Cocaine is not synthetic cocaine- its chemical structure is not similar enough to cocaine to call it that.

When will this country see the light. We have to come together and vote to have all men coming out of high school who do not go to college or fail to stay in a college to go to the military for at least 2 years. Maybe then we can stay 80% percent of this stupity, and keep people out of the already crowded jails and prisons.

Synthetic cocaine? Really? I agree this stuff is total trash but seriously, dont label it as "cocaine" just to make it sound worse. This crap is 10 times worse than any coke ive ever heard of. It seems like kids now days try all of these weird replacement drugs hoping they're better for you than the all terrible marijuana,or "real coke" My point is this is MDPV and should carry it own label as a bad drug instead of just saying its synthetic cocaine. Also I can imagine someone whos done cocaine thinking this is about the same but cheaper,so he buys it. What if pharm companies called ibuprofen "synthetic aspirin" Im just saying, call it what it is.
