Man Charged With Stabbing Family Member

A man charged with stabbing a member of his family is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

Andrew West, 55, was arrested in Rocky Mount Tuesday night. Police say West stabbed a 53-year-old family member on Jasmine Dr. earlier that evening.

The victim sustained non life-threatening injuries.

Online jail records show West has posted his $15,000 bail.

    I use to work with this man. I thought he was Preacher. This really surprise me. But I guess even these day that doesn't mean alot.

    You never know what goes on in closed doors unless you are behind them. So be cautious to judge so quickly, because Andrew West is a good man and he has an excellent reputation. You didn't walk in his shoes at the time the incident happened, so once again, don't be so quick to judge.

    what has come of this stupid world. there is news of a teen who is charged with stabbing her newborn and now a family member is stabbed have we instilled such hatred in each other/ the bible says that at the end of time you wil see wars and rumors of wars and brother against brother etc. wake up people. that ole saying "why cant we all just get along?"
