Tarboro KFC Robbed

The search is on for suspects following the robbery of the KFC in Tarboro Tuesday night.

The call came in sometime after 10:00 that the KFC on Western Boulevard in the Edgecombe County town was robbed.

We're still gathering information but the description of the suspects being given by law enforcement is two black males wearing masks. One had on what is being described as a mime mask. The other had on a yellow mask.

It's believed the suspects are driving a blue or green Toyota Corolla with the headlight out on the driver's side.

This is at least the 13th armed robbery of a fast food restaurant in Eastern Carolina since the beginning of the year.

I am ready to use a shotgun (out of vision) and work for food. I can drop these guys easy. They don't stand a chance so save the reward money. Thanks

Haven't read all the posts, so forgive me if this is a repeat. At least one of the comments on the Goldsboro Bojangles story predicted Tarboro would be next. This is getting ridiculous. Every fast food chicken establishment in the East should have undercover law enforcement. This is getting too predictable to not be stopped.

How many of you would be surprised (shocked) if the people robbing theses FF restaurants turned out to be white guys?

first they need to watch a few days of survalence footage of the locations to see if any of the same people show up at all these crime scenes prior to the robbery. most people will case out a place a couple times first.next they are always hitting kfc and bojangles, hint.

You know a lot of people talk negative about the police, but if it wasn't for them, then no one would be say in the area. The Tarboro Police have a very low crime base as far as violent crimes are concerned. Then you talk about them eating doughnuts and all, I mean really if you can do better, get your law degree and apply for a law enforcement job.

You need a law degree to be a policeman, when did that change, TbNews?

To all of you anti-LEO folks: Sometimes the bad guys get caught, sometimes they don't. Not even the FBI always catches their man, let alone small town police departments. It is physically and financially impossible for the police to be everywhere at one time. If it WERE possible, what you would then have would be a police state, which nobody in their right mind wants. It never ceases to amaze me how people that have not one day's worth of LE experience think they know how the police should do their jobs. I'll bet exactly NONE of you folks that have made these anti-police comments are willing to become officers yourselves.

What the surrounding area needs is a few employees like the one in Charlotte sometime back. Remember, he tried to rob a restaurant, (think a pizza restaurant) and was shot. Don't remember if he survived, but oh well. Employees are too afraid to take a gun to work,if it can be obtained legally, for fear of losing their job.

Sherlock, 01-24-12 @ 11:00 pm - You've got the right idea, because whether the employee(s) are affected physically or mentally and emotionally, they have the right to sue for Workmen's Comp. if they are not offered immediate counseling by the employer. After the 3rd robbery I finally learned that my life and stability are worth much more than a job where I could have been "popped" by one of these thugs at their choosing. All employees should know that there is a provision for them if they are "injured" on the job, and that doesn't mean that they have to be shot or bruised and battered physically. No one realizes what one feels as their life is being threatened. I pray for each and every employee working in environments such as these that they will be safe and able to safely return home after their work is done.

Seriously? In that case, then I hope these people get shot on site and God does with them as he wishes.
