FIRST ON WITN: Double Homicide, 3 Other Easter Shootings In Rocky Mount

Police are investigating whether four shootings on Sunday that left two men dead and three others injured are related.

Rocky Mount police say the fatal shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. at 808 Pender Street. Randy Elliot and Gregory Freeman, both 22-years-old and from Rocky Mount, were shot inside a car parked in front of the house. Elliot died at Nash General Hospital, while Freeman died at Vidant Medical Center.

Two white crosses with blue ribbons and flowers now sit in front of the murder scene.

Police say no one has been arrested and a motive in the murders is unclear. They say a white Honda, possible a two door Civic with factory hubcaps, was seen leaving the area. Elliot's brother says he heard eight or nine shots.

The other shootings, in different parts of the city, injured three other people.
