One arrest has been made and police are looking for two more suspects in the murder of a Rocky Mount teenager. That teen was found in a burned home in early September.
Police say they are looking for Nathan Jones of Raleigh, and Brian Carney of Rocky Mount. Both have been charged with first degree murder.
17-year-old Chavalis Boyd was found dead in the house on Silver Leaf Road that was heavily damaged by fire back on September 4th.
Police say an autopsy shows the teen was shot and killed before the fire was set.
One suspect, Quantisia Moss of Kenly, is under arrest and charged with accessory after the fact for murder. She's in jail on $40,000 bond.
Police say they obtained warrants Wednesday night to search Carney's home in Rocky Mount and Jones' home in Raleigh. Police have not yet said what evidence, if any, they recovered as a result of those searches.
Police say the two men may be in a white Yukon SUV with North Carolina tag YXA-1891.
If anyone sees the murder suspects, they are urged to contact Rocky Mount police at 252-972-1411.
