The former town manager of Princeville has pleaded guilty.
Sam Knight, who resigned earlier this year, admitted to 13 counts of obtaining property by false pretenses and one count of conspiracy to obtain false pretenses.
Knight was accused of obtaining illegally $25,000 from the town. He was ordered to repay the money within 90 days, and serve 90 days of house arrest, followed by 30 months of probation.
The 61-year-old Knight resigned as town manager last month.
A co-defendant in the case, Mark Richardson, also admitted his guilt Monday.
Richardson pleaded guilty to 13 counts of accessory after the fact to obtain property by false pretense. He was ordered to serve 45 days of house arrest followed by probation.
