Nearly A Dozen Breaking And Entering Cases In One City This Weekend

Police are investigating nearly a dozen breaking and entering cases over the last three days in Rocky Mount.

There is no word if they are connected.

Sunday, police were called to a home on Benvenue Road.

Saturday, crimes were reported on Raymond Street, Deerchase Drive, Burton Street.

Friday, police were called to Long Avenue, Marvelle Avenue, Hammond Street, Atlantic Avenue, Hill Street and Arrington Avenue.

Money, televisions, clothing, bicycles and video games were taken during some of the thefts.

One suspect in custody, in connection with the Raymond Street breaking and entering.
