Anonymous, if they place the blame on MTV and Viacom, then that shows how stupid they are. I grew up watching Gunsmoke,Bonanza, High Chapparal, John Wayne movies,Hawaii Five O,Yosemite Sam on the cartoons, and many more. Each show showed men being shot, men fighting, men being drug by a horse, and a lot of drinking in the saloons. It never made me grow up and grab a six shooter and challenge everyone I met to meet me in the street at high noon. And I have never tried alcohol. This is just another case of lets blame someone else. The punk criminals don't want to man up and say that they made themselves what they are.

The beat goes on. This is not about TV oh unwise one, this is about an entire morally corrupt sub-culture that is taught at home by the parents of these thugs themselves. You loving, tolerant, misguided liberals keep telling yourselves it's about TV, poverty, oppression or whatever and we will always have what we have, a growing epidemic of violence, disrespect for authority, hatred of the majority of society and lack of effort to succeed. But all the lying to yourselves is in the name of love, tolerance and just being a good liberal person, so it is supposed to make it ok. It doesn't, we need to deal with this problem. The real problem. MrT, they hate you and I worse, they are taught to do so before kindergarten.

Most likely they are a part of "the game". Whatever is on the television set infiltrates into a lot of kids' minds. These "television heroes" can cause children to become adult criminals. Then, after observing what some adults do on the streets, it inspires teenagers to want to do the same thing in order to make "quick money" (direct result of Americans' desire of instant gratification). It's all a cycle which becomes all about greed and selfishness. It's a mental disease that needs to be cured, but it must start from the top down.

Mr T MTV and the good folks at Viacom has brainwash young blacks into thinking this is the way to be. They show rapper depicting a glamorous life, and it look like they got successful from killing, drug dealing and everything else bad.So it's follow the leader....rite to jail or the grave!
