Rejected Job Applicant Robs The Place Says Manager

A man who applied for a job at McDonald's and was rejected sought revenge, says the manager, by putting employees in a freezer and then robbing the fast food chain.

Police say the incident happened at a McDonald's on Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount early Monday morning.

A manager said a man came to into the store and forced all the employees into the freezer, took money out of the safe and left the scene.

The manager said that the unknown individual told him that he applied for a job but they would not hire him and that he needed some money. The individual is still on the loose.

There were no injuries.

Ok you people are funny! The hambergular comments have made my day. However, this person could not win a Darwin Award because he did not die committing this robbery. He could get honerable mention.

Not saying what he did was right ... but who cant get a job at McDonalds? I would have to say that was not his first robbery. He must have already had a criminal record. And people wonder why so many people appling for concealed carry permits.
