Two Tractor Trailers And Three Cars In Chain Reaction Crash

Crews are on the scene of a crash involving two tractor trailers and three cars in Tarboro.

It happened just after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 64 East and the Howard Avenue exit. As you can see from the picture on this story, one of the tractor trailers overturned.

There is one injury, but it is not life threatening. Troopers say wet conditions are believed to have played a part in the crash.

The left-hand lane of Highway 64 East remains closed and is not expected to reopen until after 5:00 p.m.

There is a detour available. The DOT says take Exit 478 (Kingsboro Rd) and take a right at the top of the ramp. Continue 2 miles to stop sign, take a left onto Howard Avenue extension. Continue 2.75 miles to first stop light, take a right onto McNair NC 212) to interchange with US 64.

I live in Nashville and have the same problem as well. And I would love to get WITN. We have Direct as well. We live more than 250 ft off road so we can't get Suddenlink either.

To Clifton: If your house is 'too far' from the highway, Suddenlink will not provide you with service. So, they can't solve everyone's.

Hey Ronnie. Call Suddenlink. They will solve your problem.

Yeah I smell a rotten fish somewhere. I,m 20 min from Greenville yet I got to see news channels around Raleigh. If I want to see WITN I got to power off derict tv and flip a switch and pull up Rabbit ears antenna and play with that for a while and still get a sorry picture. This must be a small version of AIG,people just are not aware of how much this is going on.

I also have DishNet. Our local channels are Virginia stations (Wavy 10, etc). I really prefer Greenville area channels (WITN 7, etc) too but couldn't get, but know 2 families that live approx 3 miles from me that have Greenville area stations as their local channels. I don't understand! At least I can come to the website.

To GM of witntv. The direct tv tech sat in front of my box for 45 min and made some phone calls . I live 1 mile east of pitt county on highway 33 on edgecombe side. 10 miles over they can get witntv on highway 42. The tech told me after going thrugh my system that it is because of the deal the news stations made. If you think you can help e-mail me at Independent508@aol.com

Ronnie- It's our understanding that DirecTV and Dish Network are authorized to carry WITN in Edgecombe County because we are significantly viewed there.

You are close enough to our Grifton tower to easily receive our digital signal via antenna if you're unable to get Dish or Direct to cooperate. Send us an e-mail at witn@witn.com for more information.

It,s a crying shame I cannot get witntv on DirectTV. The only news I get is from 5 11 17. What I want is news from Greenville.I called Direct tv 6 months ago and the tech said it was notning he could do because of the "deals" these tv stations work out. I,m calling dish tv and see if they can provide local news stations from Greenville. What a crock of you know what.I knew there was a wreck on 64 this after noon but knowing what happened makes a big difference. At keast I know I can log on to witn to find out whats going on. Direct tv SUCKS
