Troopers say a woman who had been working all night died in a car crash early this morning.
It happened around 7:00 a.m. on Watering Pond Road, that's about three miles east of Pink Hill. Only one vehicle was involved in the fatal accident.
Troopers say 32-year-old Amanda Smith of Richlands was killed when her car ran off the right side of the road, she overcorrected and ran off the other side of the highway and struck a utility pole.
The Highway Patrol says Smith was not wearing her seat belt and she died at the scene.
