Teacher Assistant Charged With Damaging School Bus

A teacher assistant, who is also a substitute bus driver, is accused of damaging a school bus.

Jones County deputies say they have charged Frankie Peel with criminal damage to personal property and false reports to a law enforcement agency.

Deputies say they began investigating the damage to the bus at Pollocksville Elementary School on Monday. Peel, who lives in Maysville, was arrested Tuesday morning and given a $500 unsecured bond.

The school system says the 40-year-old Peel is no longer an employee. They say he worked for Jones County Schools since February 2005. The school system would not say how the bus was damaged.

I know Mr' frankie and I know he would not hurt and anybody or anything. I can not believe that the police could not find any one else to blame except a man that would give his life so someone else could have a better one. how crazy would he be to do something to lose his job after 5 years of service. how dumd is the schoolsystem that did not stand behind an employee of five years. How r our svholl to get better if the principles and school system blames stupid deeds that a kid would do on a great teacher of five years and a good christian man. I feel sorry for this school system and I know Frankie will receive double for his trouble.

This guy looks like one of the "un-subs" from the Criminal Minds TV show. I'd be afraid to leave my kid on the bus with him.
