Sheriff Blake Wallace has identified the man who was found dead along the roadside on Tuesday morning.
Investigators said it was 37-year-old Henry Bouyer Jr. of Magnolia who was found shot and killed on Carrolls Road, just outside of Warsaw, on Tuesday morning.
Investigators got a call around 6:45AM from a commuter, in their way to work, who spotted the body.
The sheriff told WITN the homicide was likely not at random, and that Bouyer likely knew the person or persons who shot him. No word yet on any suspects.

Deputies in Duplin County are investigating a murder after a man's body was found alongside a highway this morning.

The sheriff says the man was shot and a preliminary investigation points to a homicide. Wallace said it happened in an isolated area and they are still working on identifying the body.
